What are powder brows?
Powder brows are a shaded brow that gives the appearance of soft, natural makeup. Eyebrow permanent makeup gives you perfectly filled in brows. The permanent makeup technique is done with a rotary pen that creates a soft, powdered, makeup like effect. This method is suitable for all skin types, including oily skin, mature skin, and is a good option for people with sparse, gapped, or asymmetrical eyebrows. The brow can be made soft and natural looking, or bold and defined. A combination brow can also be achieved to customize your preference. The procedure involves two sessions, with the final results lasting for 2-3 years before requiring a touch-up. (This can vary depending on individual factors like skin type and aftercare.)
How does it work?
The technique is peformed with a rotary machine specifically designed for the face, the vibration is minimal. A single needle the size of an acupuncture needle is used to make tiny dots in the skin which build up to a soft shade. The machine rotates the needle in-and-out of the skin, so the pigment insertion is smooth and safe. Powder brows are gentle on the skin, cause no trauma, they do not have any hair strokes, but rather a smooth, soft, and shaded finish. They tend to lighten, soften, and shrink over time for an easy fading period. Touch-ups are recommended but allowing a good amount of time between touch-ups willl keep your brows looking natural.
